The Stuttgart Police Department (SPD) received an early Christmas present Monday in the form of a generous donation. Lennox Industries gave the department a $2,500 donation to purchase what they wish."The police department is so important and a vital pillar to the community. Officers often must put themselves in risky situations to protect our citizens," Skip King, general manager of Lennox Commercial Operations, wrote in a prepared speech for Monday's announcement.SPD Chief Mike Smith thanked King for the generous donation.
